I don’t know why (in my head, anyway) I had to leave our master bathroom untouched until a full renovation made its way to the top of the project list. A shocking 8.5 years went by before I realized this was a really stupid idea that was just preventing us from enjoying the space we have. For week 3 of the #30projectsin30days challenge, I focused my attention on giving this sorry excuse for a master bathroom a long-overdue facelift.
throughout the month of September, i’m tackling my to-do list. I’ll check off 30 items that have been on the to-do list for way too long. From boring things like paint touch-ups and fixing broken drawers to bigger, more exciting projects like finishing up our bedroom and a $200 master bathroom refresh, I am getting stuff done in September!
Wow! Week 6 of the One Room Challenge is here! I can’t tell you how excited I am about the condition of this room. Since we moved into our house in 2009, it has seen various stages of mess and progress, but only in the past 6 weeks have the most major changes taken place. It looks and feels like a completely different room today than it did 6 weeks ago – without any construction or major financial investment. Continue reading
Wow, Week 5 got here fast! That means there’s only one more week left before I finally finish up this nearly two-year long project! To catch up anyone who’s new, I’m in the final stretch of transforming a space that used to be a hoarder’s dream into a useable office space. This week’s focus has been on two areas: Decluttering and Organizing. The room both looks and feels very different after this week’s effort, and I’m pleased with the amount of things I’ve gotten rid of and the more organized look of the shelves.
